Little frog

Little frog, I love thee. Little frog, oh can't you see. If not then you must be blind. Watch out or you might get bit in the behind. Little frog, sitting so still. Little frog, on little hill. I watch you from the trees above. Watch out! Here comes a dove.
The dove got him.

I'm back and I'm armed

It's been a long time since I've posted anything. It certainly feels better to be back. In my older posts I used to show pictures made by a pencil and my hand. I still draw and my style has improved greatly, but lately I've been.... picturing something else. As you can see by the picture above I've gotten into amateur photography. This is one of my favorite pictures I have taken. I did nothing to the colors and I didn't crop it. This is 100% fresh off the camera.
Nature is a wonderful gift from God. Without it the world would not only be nothing, but it would be a lot less beautiful. I've found myself stumbling into its wonders and I am compelled to shoot it. At first I thought it meant I was supposed to pull out my shotgun and run havoc. But then I shot it with a different weapon, a camera. Since then I've been taking pictures like there's no tomorrow. To bad the computer is getting loaded with so many photos.

Praise God the Almighty

Well, I don't have a picture for this post. Sorry to disappoint. But this time I want to talk about something I love very much. My Lord Jesus. Boy am I thankful to God for helping me through the struggles of sin. I'm sure all of you (anyone who reads my blog) has had those times in their lives when sin is really weighing them down. In my personal experience, it feels like I've been crushed and defeated. But thank the Lord for coming into my life and giving me strength to walk in the right direction. As most of you know (that is mostly the people who read my blog) I am not a very serious guy. But as I'm sure we've all witnessed God does things in our lives that we wouldn't think possible. So praise the Lord. He is watching over all of us. And he is holding each one of us in his mighty hands. And he will not let us go.

Matt, back in action

Hello my fellow bloggers/friends/test dummies. Its been a LONG time. But as you can see, I've been back in time for a while. It wasn't until resently that I was able to fix my time machine. I probably would have posted earlier, but I accidentally came back a few months later then I was expecting. While we're on the line of back in time, I also visited the middle ages. I was so excited I forgot to take any pictures. So, anyway, I went all over the place and I never saw one stinkin dragon. Or a good smelling one either!!! This can only mean that all thoes books I've read have been lying! SOMEONE SHOULD SUE THEM!!!!! Well, the good thing is I'm back. Now excuse me, I have to go talk to my lawyer.

Merry Christmas

Tis' the season to eat dollys, ha ha ha ha ha yum yum ha ha.
It's that time of the year again. The time when Christians are able to celebrate the birth of the good savior Jesus. I for one am very excited. In just the past two days (including today) I have felt God working in me. I am just overjoyed to feel his love for me. I just wanted to say that I have been kinda putting God in the back of my head. And as I was jumping on our trampoline like almost everyday I realized what I was doing. As with all sin I felt bad, but then I asked for forgiveness. How good it is to be loved by him. It is so great to be happy in him again. And Merry Christmas. =^b

Synopsis

This is a "back cover" explaination of the book I'm writing. And yes I'm still editing.

Janovo is a young twelve year old boy living in a world full of fantasy and adventure. He and his mother live alone in Bravin since his father died and his two older brothers went to war against the evil Gath army. Nothing seems to change after three years of being alone with his mother, until one day he discovers the world beyond the walls that encircle Bravin.
Janovo awakes on his birthday and everything is the same as usual. But that night a stranger comes to their house unexpectedly. It’s his oldest brother John. Everything seems good and happy with the arrival of his brother until two days later.
Two royal guards come to their house early in the morning. They take them out into the forest where they wait in a long line. Everyone in the city has gathered to see if they can pull the magic shield off of the stone boulder. After a long wait it is finally their family’s turn. After his mother and brother John both fail, Janovo comes out victorious.
He is quickly rushed to the castle where he hears the shocking news. The King’s second son has been kidnapped by the evil wizard of Gath. Now it is up to Janovo to save him.
The next day Janovo (accompanied by his brother John) set out on their quest to save the prince. On the journey, they meet new people who help them in their adventure. But on their quest, they come across many dangers. They have to go up against goblins, giants, dragons, and other strange creatures and obstacles. As they move forward, problems between the companions arise making it difficult to move on. Do they defeat the wizard? Do they save the prince and return back home again? Find out in this exciting new book Janovo Autumn and the Magic Shield, by me, Matthew Davis.

My book

As most of you that visit my blog already know, I'm writing a book. About a week ago I finished writing all the chapters, now I have to edit it. Regretfully I've been putting it off. We did move resently, but that doesn't cover up the shame I feel in my... heart? Anyways, if any of you would like to read it or help me proofread it please leave a comment saying so. And if it becomes a published book whoever helped me proofread will get a free, signed, copy of the finished thing. So that's the only thing I could think of to say on here. Oh, and we have TV again!!!
